Anna Maria Island By Boat

Touring Anna Maria Island by boat is the best way to see the beauty of the entire island. Don’t just see a small section of the Anna Maria Island Gulf Beaches, see the seven miles of white sandy beaches.
Let Captain Sal take you around Bean Point at the northern tip of the island and taking you into the mouth of Tampa Bay. Take in the view of the magnificent Sunshine Skyway Bridge. He will turn south to explore the west side of the island passing by the cities of Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach.
Don’t miss the historic piers on the Tampa Bay side of the island. Rod and Reel Pier is on the northern tip of the island. Anna Maria City Pier is a little farther south. This pier was badly damaged by Hurricane Irma and had to be rebuilt. Farther south you will find the Bradenton Historic Street Pier at the end of Bridge St.
Don’t do just do a boat rental. Rent a boat with a captain. During your boat tour around the island, Captain Sal will be able to point out places of interest and provide you a little bit of history of this island. That is something you will miss if you do a boat rental and captain the boat yourself. So see Anna Maria Island by boat with a licensed and experienced master captain.
